Grace Church, 10010 Aurora Place, will have a discussion with Graces pastor, the Rev. Kathy Thomas, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 and Feb. 26. The lectures are titled, Will the real Jesus please stand up? Following the way of Jesus in the 21st century.
Lifetree Café will have the discussion Inside Terrorism: A Muslims quest to stop jihad from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Ossian Presbyterian Church, 123 S. Jefferson St., Ossian.
Lincolnshire Church of the Brethren, 6404 S. Calhoun St., is having An Evening of Chocolate, including candy, cake, cheesecake, ice cream and more on Feb. 9. There are two sittings – from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. The event includes coffee, music and a silent auction. Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for children 4 to 10 and free for those 3 and younger. Tickets are available in the church office or from any Lincolnshire member. All proceeds will benefit Lincolnshires youth ministry.
Victory Noll Center, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington, is having a Couples Night from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Feb. 15. Cost is $40 a couple. Registration deadline is Friday. The center is also having two four-day Way of the Desert retreats, which begin at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21 and 5:30 p.m. March 3. Cost per session is $290. Early registration is encouraged, as each retreat is limited to the first 10 registrants.
