Web letter by Bill Smith: Guns can’t cause crime by themselves

In my lifetime I do not remember seeing any object start an action by itself. This covers guns, planes, rockets, autos, etc. It takes something besides the object to create an action. I also don’t remember, when 9/11 happened, hearing anyone suggest we ban airplanes. It is amazing that only guns create problems.
