  • Your chance to make D-League
    The D-League will hold its annual national tryouts June 15 in New York. The one-day event will see 200 hopefuls in full-court games in front of team executives, coaches and scouts.
  • Howard, Smith work at Development League camp
    Mad Ants guard Ron Howard and center Tommy Smith accepted invitations to the NBA Development League Elite Mini Camp, which started Monday and runs through Tuesday in Chicago.
  • Record year for D-League
    It wasn't only the Mad Ants that made 2012-13 their best season; the rest of the NBA Development League had a record-setting year, as well.

Ants lead at half

The Mad Ants recovered from a nine-point deficit early in the second quarter to take a 59-57 halftime lead over Maine on Thursday at Memorial Coliseum.

The Ants, playing their first home game since Jan. 5, trailed 36-27 with 10:06 left in the half, only to have Fort Wayne recover to take a 53-51 lead on Darryl Partin's three-point shot.

Partin, 5 of 10 from three-point range, leads the Ants with 15 points. Tony Mitchell has 14, and Luke Harangody has 13.
