    In East Lansing, Michigan, the IPFW women’s doubles team of Marcy Huck and Mayu Sato finished the season-opening tennis tournament at Michigan State undefeated Sunday.
  • Miami (Ohio) blanks IPFW women
    The IPFW women's soccer team (1-6) fell 3-0 at Oxford, Ohio to Miami. Kelsey Dinges scored for the RedHawks in the 25th minute from a free kick deflection to give the hosts a one-goal advantage at halftime.

Hathaway preseason first team

Senior Clay Hathaway was recently named an All-Summit League presason baseball first team pick by College Sports Madness.

Hathaway started 56 games for IPFW last season at shortstop and led the team with .274 batting aberage. He also scored 39 runs and stole 10 bases.

Steve Danielak and Malcom White received second team mention.

Danielak was a designated hitter last season and also posted a 6-2 pitching record.

White played center field last season and hit .224.
