Good news for K's

Thomas Beauregard, who has 15 goals and 21 points in 35 games, will probably be in the lineup Saturday at Kalamazoo, Mich. He would have been back sooner from his upper-body injury, but he was required to serve his 21 days on injured reserve.

Forward Matt Syroczynski is a possibility to play for the first time this season with the Komets this weekend, but I don't know the likelihood.

Colin Chaulk, out with a foot infection, is still a couple of weeks away.

I asked some of the Komets about Ryan Lasch returning to Europe, thereby making it highly unlikely we seem him back in Fort Wayne this season. What I was told was, essentially, they felt Europe was better suited to his style of play.
