The Notre Dame men's basketball team fell out of the Associated Press Top 25, while the women's team held its position in the poll.
The Irish men, who were ranked No. 24 last week, dropped out of the Top 25 after losing 63-47 at home to Georgetown on Jan. 21 and beating South Florida 73-65 on the road Saturday. Notre Dame (16-4, 4-3 Big East) plays host to Villanova at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The Irish women stayed at No. 2 in the AP poll after pushing their winning streak to 13 in a row with victories over Pittsburgh (73-47, Wednesday) and Providence (89-44, Saturday). Notre Dame (18-1, 7-0) plays at No. 9 Tennessee at 7 tonight.
