Alleged Te'o hoaxer to be on 'Dr. Phil' Thursday, Friday

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the alleged mastermind behind the hoax that had former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o believe he had a relationship with a woman who never existed, will tell his story on the syndicated "Dr. Phil" show on Thursday and Friday, according to the show's website.

Dr. Phil McGraw landed the first on-camera interview with Tuiasosopo since the hoax was revealed Jan. 16 by Deadspin.com.

"Dr. Phil" airs locally on WISE at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Journal Gazette's Assistant Sports Editor Tony Krausz covers The University of Notre Dame. Krausz, a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and a native of St. Louis, has been assistant sports editor since October 2005. Prior to joining the JG, he worked at two papers in Mississippi covering high school and college athletics.
