FORT WAYNE – A freezing rain advisory is in effect from Sunday at 6 p.m. until Monday at 3 p.m. for much of northern Indiana, southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio.
An incoming storm and warm front will result in a widespread area of participation in the form of freezing rain and sleet, according to a report issued Sunday by the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana.
Warmer temperatures are expected to switch the precipitation to all rain by Monday.
Light ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch are expected.
