The Week Ahead

Curtis Smith

Roller-coaster ride

As January winds down, it’s no secret that this winter has already had more bitterly cold air than all of last winter.

The thing that seems to be annoying to most people is the lack of consistency.

This week, winter weather in Indiana will be on full display.

The week will start with high temperatures at or below freezing today. But by Tuesday we will actually approach 60 degrees, and by the end of the week, afternoon temperatures will likely dip back below 20 degrees.

No matter how you feel about winter, it’s hard to like a week with those kinds of swings.

Weather wise: Recently, our weather has been consistent – consistently cold. The last day we were above freezing was early on the 20th.
