    IPFW senior Theresa McHugh and freshman Rachel Dincoff have earned spots at the NCAA East Region Preliminary Championships, which begins May 23 in Greensboro, N.C.

    IPFW junior Ashleigh Bousquet and sophomore Larissa Franklin were named to the Summit League Softball Academic All-League team, as voted on by the schools’ faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.
  • IPFW lands in Louisville regional
    The IPFW softball team will head to Louisville, Ky., for the opening round regional in the NCAA tournament.

IPFW wins thriller

IPFW got two free throws from Frank Gaines with 3.1 seconds remaining in overtime to hand the Mastodons an 80-79 victory over IUPUI on Saturday at the Gates Center.

The Mastodons lost a 15-point, second-half lead, got caught in regulation at 65-all, then held on to win.

Gaines finished with 29 points, while Luis Jacobo had 13, Joe Edwards had 12 and Michael Kibiloski had 10.
