Snow forecast: 1 to 2 inches

FORT WAYNE – Snow is predicted to persist over much of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio until the middle of the day.

The National Weather Service said most of the region can expect to see about an inch of accumulation with some areas getting 2 inches of new snow by 1 p.m.

Drivers are advised to use caution because some roads are slippery.

  • Indiana – Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Elkhart, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells and Whitley.
  • Ohio – Allen, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Williams.
The weather service said Indiana and Ohio communities affected include: Fort Wayne, New Haven, Huntington, Roanoke, Bluffton, Ossian, Decatur, Berne, Shipshewana, Angola, Fremont, Kendallville, Ligonier, Albion, Auburn, Garrett, Warsaw, Winona Lake, Syracuse, Mentone, Columbia City, Tri-Lakes, South Whitley, Elkhart, Goshen, Nappanee, LaGrange, Topeka, Bryan, Montpelier, Wauseon, Archbold, Fayette, Swanton, Defiance, Sherwood, Hicksville, Napoleon, Deshler, Liberty Center, Paulding, Antwerp, Melrose, Ottawa, Pandora, Kalida, Fort Jennings, Van Wert, Delphos, Ohio City, Lima and Spencerville.
