There are 20 projects in Knitter's Lib, but they aren't the point (even though they are adorable).
Lena Maikon shows the beginning crafter how to get started and where to go from there, with clear photographs and nice instructions.
How to buy/substitute yarn, "blocking" on your needles (she calls it stretching your knitting), reading patterns well and binding off with a crochet hook are just a few of the tips Lena shares.
This book is unique because it includes both unconventional patterns and wonderfully grounded core techniques. Overall, a very useful book with a playful outlook on crafting.
