Clarification

A story on Page 1C Wednesday about proposed legislation related to the Indiana Economic Development Corp. included a statistic that could have been calculated in different ways. The number of jobs created during Gov. Mitch Daniels’ administration via the IEDC is about 48,000 – or 76 percent of those expected to be added through 2011. An additional 100,000 jobs are expected to come in the next few years.
