BB gun damage probed at lake properties

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance after a least a dozen cases of criminal mischief in lake neighborhoods.

Sheriff’s detectives reported that a BB gun was used to damage vehicle and houses over the past weekend at Camelot Lake west of Syracuse, the north portion of Lake Tippecanoe and in the Enchanted Hills addition west of Wawasee Lake.

Anyone with information is asked to call police directly at 574-267-5667 or leave a message at the anonymous TIP line at 574-372-2494. Similar to Crime Stoppers, the Kosciusko County TIP line does not have caller ID, police said.
