Statement as issued Thursday by the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo:

The Fort Wayne Zoological Society elected four new members to its Board of Directors for 2013.

Joining the Board are:

• Tim Ash of Ash Brokerage Corporation
• Eric Ottinger of Lake City Bank
• Dr. Steve Schimmele, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates
• Ron Turpin, Lincoln Financial Group

The Fort Wayne Zoological Society is a non-profit organization that operates the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo under a cooperative agreement with the City of Fort Wayne Park & Recreation Department. Board members play an important role in guiding and advising the award-winning Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.
