Correction

A Political Notebook item on Monday described Jason Arp, who seeks election as chairman of the Allen County Republican Party, as a financial planner and a member of Allen County 9-12, a tea party group.

Arp said later he is neither. He said he is an independent proprietary trader and investor, and while he was involved with Allen County 9-12 at its founding, is a former treasurer for the group and shares many of its ideals, he is no longer an active member.
