Water-main break closes stretch of Taylor Street

FORT WAYNE – A water-main break has closed Taylor Street west of downtown.

The busy stretch of road west of Freeman Street is closed, and that officials do not currently know how long it will be until the road opens again, the Traffic Engineering Department announced Tuesday afternoon.

Water Maintenance crews from the city will expose the break and get a better idea of what kind of repairs are needed and how long it will take, the announcement said.
