Dozens of vehicles in I-75 pileup

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – Authorities say as many as 50 vehicles could be involved in a pileup on Interstate 75 in southwest Ohio.

A dispatcher at the State Highway Patrol said the pileup occurred Monday on southbound lanes, between the cities of Middletown and Monroe.

The dispatcher said she’s not yet aware of any injuries. She said if there are injuries, none are serious.

Details on what caused the pileup weren’t immediately available. Visibility was reported to be clear in the area.
