6-5 player enrolled

Rashad Richardson, a 6-foot-5 swingman from Lafayette, has enrolled at IPFW and will be eligible to play with the Mastodons next season, IPFW coach Tony Jasick confirmed.

Richardson, who averaged 23.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.4 steals with Lafayette Jeff in 2011, comes to IPFW from Kiski prep school in Saltsburg, Pa. He will be eligible to practice with the team the remainder of this season, and will begin his freshman year of eligibility next season.

Richardson was named the Lafayette Journal & Courier Big School Player of the Year in 2011.
