5 Irish recruits land in Rivals100

Five players who have committed to Notre Dame landed on the final Rivals100 ranking for the 2013 recruiting class.

Bishop Luers linebacker Jaylon Smith leads the group of Irish commits, placing No. 3 in the top 100.

Greg Bryant, a running back from Delray Beach, Fla., is No. 19, and Max Redfield, a defensive back from Mission Viejo, Calif., is No. 30. Smith, Bryant and Redfield are all five-star prospects, according to Rivals.com.

Steve Elmer, an offensive lineman from Midland, Mich., is No. 60. Elmer is already enrolled at Notre Dame.

John Montelus, an offensive lineman from Everett, Mass., is No. 74. Elmer and Montelus are both rated as four-star prospects by Rivals.com.
