IPFW falls in 5 in men’s volleyball

Eddie Rivera had 18 kills, four digs and four assists for the IPFW men’s volleyball team in a 3-2 loss at NJIT. The scores were 25-14, 21-25, 13-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Nick Smalter added 15 kills, seven digs and seven blocks for the Mastodons (2-2).

Omar Rivera had 45 assists, five digs and five blocks. Luis Bertran had 12 digs.

Chris Kaepernick had 14 kills and eight digs for NJIT. Herman Kantushov had 13 kills and 10 digs.
