IPFW picks up 2nd volleyball victory

IPFW won its second consecutive match of the volleyball season by defeating Sacred Heart 3-2 in Fairfield, Conn., on Friday.

The Mastodons (2-1) hit for a .421 percentage in the 15-10 last-set win. They won the first and third sets, 25-18 and 25-21.

Ramon Burgos led IPFW with 11 kills. Bryan Saunders and Kevin Villela had 10 each, and Omar Rivera had 45 assists.

The Mastodons visit NJIT today.
