Howard "day-to-day"

A few hours before the Mad Ants play at Los Angeles on Saturday, Ants coach Duane Ticknor said he is unsure of the playing status of veteran guard Ron Howard.

Howard suffered a knee injury early in the team's loss at Bakersfield on Friday and sat out the rest of the game.

Reached Saturday, Ticknor said Howard was "day-to-day" and was not sure if he would play against the D-Fenders.

"It was a knee injury, but there was no structural damage," Ticknor said.

Howard is the team's leading scorer with a 19.2 average.
