Dwenger scores wrestling victory over Luers

Logan Parrish was one of three Bishop Dwenger wrestlers to win by pin in a 71-6 victory over Bishop Luers.

Parrish (138 pounds), Jeremy Reese (220) and Shawn Ryan (285) each won by pin for the Saints.

Jordan Bly (132), Brian Trahin (145) and William Hilger (195) also won matches for Dwenger. The Saints won seven matches by forfeit. Eli Rider won at 152 pounds for Luers.

WEST NOBLE 64, CONCORD 46: Kelsie Peterson scored 21 points for the Chargers in a home victory.

Haley Richardson added 17 points.


NORTHROP 97.150, DEKALB 96.950: Kristin Russell placed first in the all-around for the Barons.

DEKALB 88, COLUMBIA CITY 80: Nicole Gillespie won two individual events for the Barons. Gillespie won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 breaststroke.

EAST NOBLE 111, ANGOLA 58: Mackenzye Dafforn-Koebler (200 free and 100 backstroke), Kari Guthrie (200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke) and Mackenzie Corbin (50 and 100 free) each won two individual events for the Knights.

BELLMONT 131, ADAMS CENTRAL 48: Sarah Evans (200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke) and Rachel Klingensmith (50 and 100 free) both won two individual events for the Braves.

Boys swimming

COLUMBIA CITY 103, DEKALB 67: Nathan Koch and Foster Eber both won two individual events for the Eagles. Koch won the 200 free and the 100 breaststroke. Eber won the 50 free and the 100 free.

EAST NOBLE 87, ANGOLA 75: Phillip Phan (200 individual medley relay and 100 backstroke) and Matt Lewis (50 and 500 free) both won two individual events for the Knights.

BELLMONT 105, ADAMS CENTRAL 78: Zac Torrey won two individual events (50 and 100 free) for the Braves.
