Redskins' Richards right at home

Dwight Richards has finally found a home.

The North Side senior has played at three schools in four years, but seems to like where he is finishing up.

Richards started out at Concordia, played two years at Bishop Luers and transferred over to North Side this year.

"When I was came over from Luers, I knew Coach Baz (head coach Shabaz Khaliq) and Coach Mitch (Sturm) and I knew (junior) Myluv Sutton a little bit, but they took me on as a brother, and it has been like a family over here."

Richards scored 20 points in an 80-63 home win over South Side on Friday, including 14 points in the fourth quarter.

"I got into a better rhythm than I did in the first half," he said of the fourth.

Richards will face his former team in Luers next Friday at home.
