Ants stay hot out west

The Ants aren't slowing down.

Their 104-102 victory over the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Wednesday was the Mad Ants' eighth consecutive win, which pushed their record to 11-10. It's the first time this season that the Ants have been over the .500 mark.

NBA-assigned players Doron Lamb (Milwaukee) and Miles Plumlee (Indiana Pacers) didn't start, but played. Lamb played 27 minutes, was 4 of 14 from the floor and scored 12 points. Plumlee, the oft-traveled center who has bounced back and forth from the Pacers and Ants, played 23 1/2 minuters, was 4 of 8 from the floor, had 7 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.

The Ants will try to make it nine in a row on Friday when they play at Bakersfield (13-7).
