Grain futures rise, livestock prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 2.25 cents to $7.85 a bushel; March corn rose 0.75 cent to $7.3125 a bushel; March oats rose 0.75 cent to $3.5725 a bushel; while March soybeans jumped 23 cents to $14.3650 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 1.90 cent to $1.2850 a pound; March feeder cattle fell 2.15 cents to $1.4822 a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.10 cent to 85.15 cents a pound.
