Plumlee joins Ants again

I'm not sure about Mason Plumlee, himself, but his car is getting quite the workout.

The 6-foot-11 center has once again been assigned to the Mad Ants from the Indiana Pacers. It's the sixth time the Pacers have shipped the former Duke star to play with the Ants of the NBA D-League.

Plumlee has played in more Mad Ants games this season (seven) than Pacers games (six).

With the Ants, he has averaged 13.9 points, 10.9 rebounds and a tick over 32 minutes. With the Pacers, his averages are 1.0, 1.3 and 3.7.

Plumlee's car got a break this time, since he flew out to Los Angeles to join the Ants for their 10 p.m. game against the Los Angeles D-Fenders tonight.

The Ants (10-10) are in search of their eighth consecutive win.

Steve Warden blogs all things Mad Ants.
