They won't be in the lineup tonight at Evansville, but the Komets have a lot of help on the way.
The American Hockey League's Norfolk Admirals have sent Brandon Marino and Jean-Michel Rizk, plus defenseman Ryan Hegarty, back to Fort Wayne.
Marino, the Komets' leading point-scorer, and Rizk, the leading goal scorer, got only one-game looks from the Admirals. (Seems silly, almost, to spend all the money on travel for such an abbreviated look. Rizk is playing at an AHL level right now. And they were there for only three days.)
Hegarty didn't play in this stint with the Admirals.

In other news, former Komets defenseman Tyler Miller was picked up by Elmira, after he was released by Toledo. And former Komets prospect Jordy Trottier signed with Wheeling.
