Walker Russell Jr. update

Checking in on Walker Russell Jr., who has been a multi-season fixture with the Mad Ants until he was traded to Reno in late December.

Russell has played eight games in Reno, where he is averaging 9.8 points and 7.3 assists per game. The Bighorns are 5-3 with Russell in the lineup.

Meanwhile, another former Mad Ants favorite, Sean Sonderleiter, has played four games with Reno. He is averaging 3.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in limited play.

In shipping Russell to Reno, the Ants got Anthony Richardson. In Reno, he averaged 11.2 points and 4.3 boards. With the Ants, he is averaging 15.7 points and 4.6 rebounds.

The Ants (10-10) go for their eighth straight win when they play at Los Angeles on Wednesday.
