Adam Leon's debut feature, "Gimme the Loot," is a thousand-watt jolt of mischief, a spunky, funky, ebullient indie that packs its 81 minutes with cinematic exhilaration.
Well, the Oscar nominations are out, and if you haven’t caught up with some of the most-buzzed-about films on the list, it’s time to get busy.
There’s more than a month until the Academy Awards are announced Feb. 24 – plenty of time to get out to the theater and take in a flick or two. Lucky for moviegoers, there are still 11 nominated movies playing on area big screens.
