Mad Ants win in D-League Showcase

Luke Harangody scored a season-high 27 points and notched a double-double by grabbing 18 rebounds as the Mad Ants defeated the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 116-97 at the NBA D-League Showcase in Reno, Nev.

Tony Mitchell had 20 points and nine rebounds and Ron Howard recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists for the Mad Ants, who have won five straight.

Tim Ohlbrecht had a team-high 22 points and nine rebounds for the Vipers.

Fort Wayne plays Tulsa at 1 p.m. today in its final game at the Showcase.
