The body of Thomas Haskins was a day away from being cremated – and his closest kin didn’t even know he was dead.A Warsaw man was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of marijuana and cocaine after officers served a warrant at his home.
Gilbert Berrones, 29, of 3699 N. County Road 175 East, was being served a felony warrant for dealing marijuana about 11:35 a.m. when officers noticed what appeared to be small amounts of cocaine and marijuana inside his home.
Berrones was arrested and taken to the Kosciusko County Jail, where he was being held without bail.
