3 Ohioans arrested in SE Indiana slaying

CINCINNATI (AP) — Indiana State Police have arrested a woman and two teenagers from Ohio in connection with the December slaying of a 68-year-old southeastern Indiana woman.

WLWT TV reports that 22-year-old Allison Moore of Colerain Township in Hamilton County was arrested Saturday.

Moore faces a preliminary charge of murder in the Dec. 30 shooting death of Nancy Hershman of Milan, Ind. Formal charges are to be filed Monday or Tuesday.

Two 16-year-olds were also arrested and face juvenile charges in connection with the killing.

Police called the decision to break into Hershman's home random.

The station reported the suspects were being held in separate adult and juvenile facilities in Cincinnati.

The investigation remains open and more arrests could come.

Milan is about 60 miles west of Colerain.
