Sheryl A. Prentice has been hired as executive director of the Noble County Convention and Visitors Bureau, effective Monday. Prentice has served northeast Indiana as a newspaper reporter, editor, marketing director for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum and as a longtime board member of the Auburn Arts Commission. Prentice replaces outgoing director John Bry, who resigned but will transition into a new Visitors Bureau position, created to oversee community-asset development.

The American Hospital Association Certification Center has awarded Daniel Turzillo with the designation of Certified Healthcare Constructor. The CHC is a national credential that distinguishes an individual as being among the elite in the healthcare construction profession. Turzillo works for Weigand Construction as safety manager and is active in the company’s healthcare construction.

Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola, announced the election of board officers for 2013. They are: Dr. David Goodwin, retired MSD superintendent, chairman; Jeff Posendek, retired, Trine University athletic director, vice chairman; Dr.

Berry Miller, physician, secretary; and Barbara Short, DAS Services Inc., treasurer. Dr. Larry Watkins was also elected to serve an additional three-year board term. The Cameron medical staff announced it will be led in 2013 by Dr.

Thomas Miller as chief of staff, Dr. Larry Watkins as vice chief of staff, Dr. Jonathan Alley as treasurer and Dr. William

Smith as secretary.

ENS Group announced that Chad Orlikowski, vice president of operations at ENS Group, earned the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Private Cloud certification. The certification validates an expertise in managing and implementing Microsoft private cloud computing technologies in order to build a solution to optimize IT service delivery and gain automation and flexibility needed for an IT infrastructure. Additionally, it proves an ability to build innovative solutions across multiple technologies, both on-premises and in the cloud.
