    IPFW sophomore Andy Sellan was named to the All-MIVA first team while Eddie Rivera and Omar Rivera were each named to the second team, the sssociation announced Wednesday.

    No. 14 IPFW men’s volleyball defeated Lindenwood University 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-18) at the Gates Center on Saturday.
  • IPFW volleyball sweeps Quincy
    The sets both progressively tougher for the IPFW men’s volleyball team at home against Quincy, but the Mastodons still completed the sweep with a 25-13, 25-19, 27-15 win Friday.

Mastodons beat Omaha

Junior forward Michael Kibiloski scored a career-high 26 points to lead IPFW to a 96-78 Summit League victory over Nebraska Omaha on Saturday at Memorial Coliseum.

Kibiloski, who was 8 of 11 from the floor, including 5 of 7 from three-point range, added 11 rebounds. His previous career high points total was 13 against Xavier last season.

It was the first Summit League win of the season for IPFW (8-9, 1-2). Nebraska Omaha is 4-14 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

Senior guard Frank Gaines also had 26 points, Luis Jacobo had 16, and Mario Hines had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

IPFW returns to the road for its next two games, playing at North Dakota State on Jan. 10 and at South Dakota State on Jan. 12.
