Michael A. Banks, 22, had been charged with one count of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance known as Ecstasy, one count of using a firearm to further drug trafficking and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
He pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm, and as part of that plea prosecutors will recommend he be sentenced to 50 months in prison, according to court records.
Banks is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 25.
