The book opens with an instructional section, where all of the techniques in the book are shown in clear, step-by-step instructions. It's nice that this is in the front of the book, since it allows the knitter to get an idea of what will be required before she falls in love with a project.
...and fall in love she will. Projects range from completely adorable baby leggings to a cap with a plastic-stiffened brim to a lacy headband.
The yarns used are nice too, and offer both the precious and the easy-to-afford. Bernat, Berroco, Blue Sky Alpacas, Brooklyn Tweed, Knitting Fever, Lorna's Laces, Madeline Tosh and Spud & Chloe are all included.
Overall, 25 bright, fun designs that would work well in any knitter's bag.
