Ants trail Santa Cruz at half

Santa Cruz, whose 9-2 record is the best in the D-League, owns a 58-49 halftime lead over the Mad Ants on Thursday at Memorial Coliseum.

The Ants (5-10) hit 8 of their first 11 shots to take a 19-11 lead in the first quarter, but Santa Cruz rode the sensational shooting of guard Stefhon Hannah, whose 23 points in the first quarter led the Warriors to a 33-31 lead at the first break.

Tony Mitchell leads the Ants with 15 points. Hannah didn't score in the second quarter, but still leads Santa Cruz at halftime with his 23 points.
