Ants win third straight

Facing the team with the best record in the D-League on Thursday at Memorial Coliseum, the Mad Ants defeated Santa Cruz 102-86

The win ended Santa Cruz's (9-3) five-game winning streak, and it was the third straight win for the Ants (6-10).

The winning streak is the longest since 2010, when the Ants won four in a row.

Orlando Johnson, who joined the Ants from the Indiana Pacers, and Ron Howard led Fort Wayne with 25 points each, while Tony Mitchell added 22.

The Ants will return to the Coliseum on Saturday to play Santa Cruz at 7:30 p.m.
