Illinois leads Purdue 33-31 at halftime Wednesday at Mackey Arena. The half featured five lead changes and two ties.

Terone Johnson has 13 points and four rebounds for the Boilermakers.

Anthony Johnson has five points and Jacob Lawson has four points.

Joseph Bertrand has 12 points to lead the No. 11 Illini. Brandon Paul has seven points. He has two fouls and had to sit a long portion of the half.

Illinois has made five three-pointers.

Purdue has turned the ball over just twice.
