Math4Knitters, Crafty Living: Show 157

This week, I share my last (weekly) free pattern and chat with Carol of Black Bunny Fibers.

Fear No Evil Tam And Other Free Patterns

In three years, we've published more than 150 free patterns online. I feel that I'm ready to start working on other projects, so to free up my time for that, I have to stop producing the free patterns.

The patterns are still out there. I will still answer any questions or help you with any problems there might be with them. It's been really fun, but I'm just ready to start moving in a different direction with my knitting.

The blog and the podcasts will continue, however. I will still share snippets of what's in my knitting bag and I hope to continue chatting with fiber folk for a long time.

I may still, occasionally, publish a free pattern. However, I just can't commit to the one-a-week pace I've kept up for almost 3 years. I really appreciate the opportunities I've had to learn so much from the work I've done here. I hope 2013 leads you to what you like best and, most of all, that you find a way to make space in your life for whatever that might be.

Chat

I had such a nice time talking with Carol Sulcoski. We chatted about Black Bunny Fibers, Koigu, her books, The Yarn Harlot and a bunch of other things.
