Jenkins scores 40 in Fremont victory

Tyler Jenkins had 40 points and 11 rebounds for Fremont in a 78-65 victory over Eaton Rapids at the Coldwater (Mich.) Tournament.

Jenkins also had four steals, two blocks and three assists.

Jake Bryant scored 18 points, and Austin Corcimiglia added 11 for the Eagles.

Girls basketball

LADY TIGER CLASSIC: Warsaw defeated Lowell 57-33 to win the championship of the Teachers Credit Union Lady Tiger Classic. Jennifer Walker-Crawford scored 22 points in the title game.

LEO 39, ANGOLA 35: Keanna Gary scored 12 points and Jenna Beer added 10 for Leo in a road victory. Rachel Rinehart scored 15 points for Angola.

Wrestling

WESTON CLOSE SUPER DUAL TOURNAMENT: Snider went 5-0 at the tournament at Huntington North. Matt Swartz won four matches by pin for the Panthers at 195 pounds.

Ben Fiechter from Southern Wells (132 pounds) was voted the most valuable wrestler at the event by the coaches.
