About 19,500 American Honda Motor Co. 2012 FourTrax Rancher ATVs have been recalled, the Associated Press has reported.

Model numbers are TRX420 FA, FE, FM, FPA, FPE, FPM, TE and TM, according to the AP notice. Vehicle Identification Numbers involved in the recall can be found at http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml13/13713.html

A weld on the ATV’s front right and left upper suspension arms can separate, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle, the notice said.

It said 10 incidents of suspension arm weld failures, including one where a rider suffered a sprained wrist, have been reported.
