Mad Ants beat Texas

The Mad Ants wanted to shake things up with two trades in as many days.

Mission accomplished.

After acquiring Luke Harangody, Anthony Richardson and Jack McClinton in a pair of trades -- with Reno and Canton -- the Mad Ants won for only the second time in their last 10 games.

Paced by Orlando Johnson's 24 points, they defeated the Texas Legends 107-97 on Friday night, in front of 2,967 fans at Memorial Coliseum.

Harangody, the former Notre Dame star who was acquired from Canton for JaJuan Johnson, had 19 points and 18 rebounds. Richardson added 18 points for the Mad Ants (4-10), who got 23 from Ron Howard.

Texas fell to 8-5.
