Paulding man dies after Allen County crash

A Paulding, Ohio, man has died, two days after a one-car accident in eastern Allen County, the county coroner's office said today.

James M. Clark, 85, died at Parkview Regional Medical Center on Sunday, the coroner's office said in a statement.

Clark was a rear-seat passenger in a car that went off Dawkins Road at Sampson Road about 10:20 a.m. Friday and into a ditch, the statement said. He was wearing a seat belt.

Clark's death is the 36th traffic fatality for Fort Wayne and Allen County during 2012, the statement said. The accident remains under investigation by Allen County police.
