Quick start leads to win for Canterbury

– Trent VanHorn scored 22 points for Canterbury in a 66-51 victory over Bethany Christian in a boys basketball game on Friday.

Chase Moyle had 21 points and Grant Sinn scored 12 in the home win.

Canterbury led 19-7 after the first quarter on the way to the victory.

NORTH SIDE 76, INDIANAPOLIS HOWE 42: Dwight Richards had 18 points and 19 rebounds for North Side. Sean McGee and Oosha Mitchell had 12 and 10 points, respectively.

BELLMONT 68, SOUTH ADAMS 52: Parker Zeser scored 18 points for the visiting Braves. Cameron Beinz scored 14 points while Lance Vergara had 12 points. Blake Fox led South Adams with 24 points.

NORWELL 80, BLUFFTON 46: Five Knights reached double figures in scoring in the home win. Josh VanMeter led the way with 21 points. David Vogel had 14 points and Drew Shively scored 13 points. Cam Denney and Austin Hayden had 11 and 10 points, respectively. Chandler Prible led Bluffton with 16 points. Jackson Lambert scored 13 points.

WEST NOBLE 85, PRAIRIE HEIGHTS 65: Drew Schermerhorn had 20 points for the Chargers in a home victory. Armando Rosales scored 18 points and Brandon Evans had 16.

MISHAWAKA 77, WAWASEE 47: Aaron Voirol scored 12 points for the Warriors in a road loss.

HAMILTON SOUTHEAST 53, BISHOP LUERS 45: Alison Butler scored 14 points for the Knights in a home loss. Addie Reimbold scored 11points.
