Ants fall again

Another stumble down the stretch, and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants go down again.

In Springfield, Mass., a 38-point third quarter sent the Ants (3-10) to the fourth tied with the Armor (4-5), but Springfield outscored the Ants by six in the fourth to pull out a 107-101 victory. It was the Ants' seventh loss in their last eight games.

Springfield led 64-41 at halftime, but the Ants came all the way back to tie it at 79 by the end of the third. Springfield then outscored the Ants 28-22 in the fourth quarter to seal it.

Tony Mitchell led the Ants with 27 points. Walker Russell Jr. added 22 and Mike Anderson (14), JaJuan Johnson (12 and 13 rebounds) and Sadiel Rojas (11) chipped in with double figures.
