2 arrested after Warsaw break-in

Two Warsaw men were arrested Wednesday in a home burglary.

Brandon Charles Carpenter, 25, and Jason Wayne Rohrer, 29, are being held in the Kosciusko County Jail without bail, the sheriff’s department said.

Acting on an anonymous tip, sheriff’s deputies and detectives responded to a possible burglary in progress in the Hartzler Drive area about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

As officers arrived, they were told a vehicle had fled the area and might be headed east on Old Road 30 into Warsaw.

Detectives found the vehicle near Center and Detroit streets, where the suspects were arrested, police said.

Carpenter is charged with burglary and possession of a controlled substance. Rohrer is charged with burglary.
