Cody Zeller scored 16 points as No. 6 Indiana defeated Mount St. Mary's 93-54 Wednesday at Assembly Hall.
Will Sheehey also scored 16 points. Christian Watford had 15 points and eight rebounds. Victor Oladipo and Remy Abell finished with 14 and 12 points, respectively, as the Hoosiers (10-1) bounced back from their first loss of the year.
Indiana shot 70.6 percent from the floor. Mount St. Mary's (4-5) shot 31.5 percent.
IU had 41 rebounds to Mount St. Mary's 18.
The Mountaineers were within 30-26 with 5:33 to go in the first half. The Hoosiers then closed the half on a 16-3 run.
Indiana opened the second half by scoring the first 11 points to increase the lead to 57-29.
Senior Derek Elston played his first game of the year for the Hoosiers. The forward had been out with a knee injury. He received a standing ovation when he entered midway through the first half. Elston finished with two points and two rebounds in nine minutes.
The Hoosiers return to action Friday against Florida Atlantic.
